Our Artist Series invites artists we admire to interpret the idea of home, bringing their perspective into our spaces, one collaboration at a time.
Amber Vittoria is a Los Angeles-based illustrator known for colourful, expressive work that brings lightness and hope to the women who see it. For the Sundays Artist Series, Amber translates the quiet, sun-soaked moments of new motherhood—walks in nature, watching her daughter take in the world for the first time—into a window installation filled with colour, plus a limited-edition tote and hat inspired by the collaboration. Her work turns everyday tenderness into something you can walk right through.
How would you describe your work, in your own words?
My work is colorful, aiming to bring lightness and hope to women.
What does a day in the studio look like?
Some days I have part-time care so I can take meetings and get projects done, but most days I'm playing with my baby and working while she sleeps.
What does “home” mean to you?
Home is being with the people I love most.
What was your inspiration for this particular installation? How did the concept come together, and what does it represent to you?
I was very early into motherhood when we started this installation, and going on walks with my daughter in nature inspired me. The idea of being with those you love, is home. That this planet and the nature it provides is also home.
