Building Block x Colapso Studio Cabinet, 2 Drawer, Wide, Pale Oak

Building Block was designed exclusively for Sundays by Susana Piquer, head of design at Barcelona-based Colapso Studio. It carries the rounded dowel detail from her Long Story collection forward, this time as a drawer pull.

Yes. Each cabinet works on its own, as a nightstand for example, or can be combined with other Building Block cabinets to create larger storage configurations.

Every cabinet comes with two sets of handles: pale oak and Sundays yellow. The handles are removable, so you can switch between them whenever you like.

For larger items, including sofas, beds and dining tables, we also provide free in-home assembly and removal of packaging. We use solid woods, particularly hardwoods like oak, walnut and ash. We choose these materials because they look great, hold up for years, and reflect our commitment to lasting quality. Softwoods (like pine or fir) are lighter and more prone to dents and wear, while hardwoods hold their shape, resist everyday knocks, and maintain their finish for years. Solid wood offers a warm, organic feel that ages beautifully, with natural grain variation that makes every piece unique. It also stands the test of time and develops character as it ages.
